Job Description

About part time job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Read the English language-based articles/opinions/blogs on various topics on the internet (example: Medium, HBR, etc.)
2. Extract sections of the article and label them with at least five topics (eg. politics, technology, social science, literature, and science)
3. Build a database of articles extracts with corresponding topic labels (minimum 5 labels per extract) on MS Excel
4. Complete at least 50 extracts (with corresponding labels) per day or 1500 per month

Marble was founded in 2020 by alumni from the Shristi School of Design, Manipal Institute of Technology, and Indian Institute of Science. During the summer of 2020, when the pandemic was on a rampage, the young founders were frustrated that most of what they read evaporated in a day or two. Also, they could see some patterns in the information they had acquired but found it very hard to connect them and make sense out of it. This was the genesis for Marble.
