Job Description

To co-ordinate with In-charges of all the branches and get the content from them and edit it to the understandable language of the parents/viewers.
Will upload the class photos, Topic of the week, Talent of the week, EVENTS , on a day-to-day basisWill co-ordinate with the Headmistress- Primary CBSE and Cambridge for the above and ensure that the websites are updated every day.
To ensure that the matter being updated on the website is compiled.
Will also co-ordinate Incharges for the necessary updation regarding the Secondary and Sr Secondary information on the website.
Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, stories and social media to entice and engage audienceProofread content for errors or additions and ensure that content is written per instructions
Ensure that web page content is edited properly to increase on-screen readability
Think up titles for each piece of content keeping appropriateness in check
Copy, edit and proofread content created by other content writers to provide detailed feedback
Manage user-generated content on social media sites
Manage the organizations social media presence
Rewrite, paraphrase or write content from scratch depending on specific instructions provided in the work order.
Has to edit SMS which has to be sent to parents from the school.
Will be responsible for filling in the ranking form for different organizations and magazines.
Will have to deal with media/PR issues when required in co-ordination with the concerned.
WebsiteTo ensure that all website content is edited with the latest information.
To co-ordinate with various Department Heads across all the branches, get the relevant content about a range of events and activities, and edit this content to be engaging and appropriate for parents and public audiences.
Social MediaManage the organizations social media presence.Manage user-generated content on social media sites.
Come up inviting titles for each piece of content, while remaining appropriate for public audiences.
Parent EngagementTo upload photos of events and activities such as Topic of the week, Talent of the week, Today @ CHIREC, etc., on a day-to-day basis.
To put together informative and interesting Newsletters for each section, every fortnight.
School JournalismTo take initiative to go out into the different branches to interview parents, students, teachers and guests for their testimonials.
To develop engaging content for articles, blogs and stories to entice and engage audiences.
To proofread content for errors or additions, and ensure that content is edited as per school branding and language.
