We're looking for a Journalism or Mass Communication graduate for a full-time position of a Content Writer. This role provides an incredible learning experience in the areas of social media, SEO, copywriting for the web, inbound marketing, etc.

We want someone with great writing skills who can take complex topics and simplify it for our readers. Creative skills will be needed to convert concepts into images, posters, and infographics.

Role & Responsibilities :

  • Deep understanding of what it takes to make a content marketing plan successful from the planning stage to execution
  • How to track and measure the content effectiveness using various metrics
  • A better understanding of how to write for your audience
  • How great content is created and what makes content go viral
  • Tools for research, analytics and content management.
  • Possible full-time employment opportunity at the end of the internship

The responsibilities will include the following:

  • Research & contribute ideas for new content
  • Create different types of content (images, posters, infographics, blogs, interviews) that can be shared via our blog onto various social media channels.
  • Ensure that good quality content is generated regularly to be shared every week based on the editorial calendar. Each blog post will typically take 6-8 hours of work.
  • Track and create reports on analytics to measure the success of the content
  • Research and unearth data for backing up the content
  • Curate the best and undiscovered information on topics available on the internet for our industry
  • Growing traffic on our blog by optimizing content with keywords, keyword research, etc
  • Managing email campaigns - curating the email database, creating and researching content for newsletter and schedule weekly/monthly campaigns, reporting.

Prerequisites/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Marketing or Journalism field preferred)
  • Outstanding written and communication skills
  • The candidate must have a good understanding of how the internet and social media networks work
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Self-starter. Must ask questions, read voraciously on all related topics and learn skills quickly on the job.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and their usage for disseminating information.
