• The ideal candidate should have interest and knowledge of a wide range of topics and current trends. They should be a vociferous news consumer with deep familiarity about the major stories of the day, week, month and year, including the 2019 election.

Skills

• Passion for storytelling with an extensive knowledge current trends and ability to work closely with the multimedia teams.
• Have a knack for brainstorming informative, interesting and fun story ideas.
• Have impeccable writing and editing skills.
• Familiar with SEO keyword techniques and strategies.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and juggle several stories and projects at the same time.
• Working with the strategy team to determine ways of increasing reach and engagement through data-driven stories
• Meticulous dedication to detail
• Proficiency in writing accessible and precise methodology notes as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Relevant experience
