Editorialist YX is looking for a part time Content Writer. We are a startup where you will get to work with amazing people in a fun collaborative environment. As part of this role, you would be joining a small focused team that works on finding best ways to integrate fashion expertise with technology. You will be responsible for writing SEO friendly content in fashion and beauty.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, engaging copy with a distinct voice
• Conduct high-quality research
• Understand and apply SEO best practices
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Source images and other forms of content
• Understand our target audience & their unmet needs to influence our content strategy
• Stay up-to-date on current industry and social trends
• Promote content on social media
• Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, English, journalism or related field
• 2+ years experience
• Strong verbal and written skills in English
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Understanding of US/European fashion industry is required
• Experience with SEO
• High Energy/Startup Mindset
• Creativity
• Willing to learn
• Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or google docs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in using technology platform like wordpress or mailchimp is a big plus
