Duties

Job Description

Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
Writing a clear marketing copy to promote our products/services. Preparing well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
Revising content whenever customers or clients request changes. Helping create style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is consistent and clear.
Working with customers to define their content needs. Conducting research on any given topic.
We are looking for a creative Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for ads, publications, and websites. Your words will inform and engage target audiences.

Responsibilities

Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters)
Working with creative professionals to build marketing projects and campaigns
Write a clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
Collaborate with designers, PR, and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
Conduct high-quality research and interviews
Edit and proofread copy as needed
Use SEO principles to maximize copyĂ˘âŹâ˘s reach
Source images and other content
Excellent overall writing skills in different styles/tones
Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content
Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, stories, and social media to entice and engage the audience
Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns
Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability
Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website
Ensure that content contains sufficient keywords for SEO
Identifying customers needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content
High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
Develop prototypes and storyboards using a multitude of media creation and graphics editing tools
An understanding of formatting articles on the web and ensure that web page content is edited properly to increase on-screen readability
Develop ideas derived from online/offline research and organize the same on paper or computer applications
Manage user-generated content on social media sites
Manage the company's social media presence
Working knowledge of content management systems

Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
