Job Description
Position: Content Writer – Full Time
Location: Bangalore (Indiranagar)
Experience – 1+ years
Working days: Thursday to Monday where Saturday and Sunday will be work from home.
Off day: Tuesday and Wednesday.
Instructions:
Priority given for candidates from financial background or experience in financial content writing - articles, blogs and from financial news candidates/financial writing companies.
We assess in terms of your creativity in writing, style, quality, language, and financials data, concepts and facts through the given assignment.
There will be an inhouse assessment in terms of their creativity in writing, style, quality, language, and financials data, concepts and facts, if they are shortlisted.
Previous experience in writing articles, news or blogs.
Financial knowledge of the market either by experience or by education.
For writing news, articles and blogs related to finance.
Role Overview:
As a Content Writer the role will cover doing research and writing engaging content for our Blog and Newsletter. The main responsibility will be to write weekly blog articles, daily few news articles in a crisp form and writing content for our social media handles.
Other Responsibilities:
• Come up with current and interesting financial blog article topics and write researched, informative and engaging content for our blog and Newsletter.
• Writing exceptionally good and interesting cover letters for our weekly newsletter.
• Daily identifying important financial news articles from different news sources and writing them in a crisp’s manner
• Writing scripts for explainer videos and social media channels
• Coming up with interesting and engaging email subject lines and writing email marketing content.
Required Skills:
• Creative writing skills
• Sound knowledge about the economy, financial markets and different financial concepts
• Excellent grasp of English language with the ability to write engaging content.
• Must be good with grammatical accuracy, syntax, brevity and precision.
• Ability to create original & engaging content for various online websites and media.
• SEO writing skill
• Ability to work effectively within team environment.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Education:
MBA finance, M.Com, B.com, or any other finance degree, MA/BA in English, Journalism or related field, with good command over verbal and written English.
