About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Creating dynamic vehicle models using Simulink
2. Tuning vehicle models to emulate real vehicle behavior
3. Designing various controllers for vehicle models
4. Working on controller tuning for different driving conditions
5. Programming and implementing controller on an embedded device
6. Tuning controller on the simulator and the actual vehicle
7. Coordinating with team members for simulation testing, ROS package development, and maintenance
8. Designing, developing and maintaining software for autonomous systems

Who can apply

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 3rd Dec'20 and 7th Jan'21

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Must have experience in programming in C++ and Python with robust, safety-critical, and efficient coding

2. Must have experience with object-orientated programming

3. Must have experience with version control using Git

4. Must have experience with ROS package creations and packages integration

5. Must have a good understanding of Linux

6. Must be skilled with software design, development, and bug-fixing

7. Must have experience with controller implementation on embedded devices

8. Must have experience with robust control implementation

9. Must have experience with dynamic vehicle model designing on Simulink

10. Must have a proper understanding of classical, modern, and optimal control theory

11. Knowledge of Kalman Filter implementation projects, prediction implementation, and vehicle designing (truck and trailer model) will be an added advantage
