1.Setting up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and food scales
2. Studying each recipe and gathering all necessary ingredients
3. Cooking food in a timely manner

5. Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
6. Cook food in a timely manner
7. Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
8. Inform wait staff about daily specials
9. Ensure appealing plate presentation
10. Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
11. Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
12. Monitor food stock and place orders
13. Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
