Objectives of this Role

• Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends
• Stay updated on moment marketing opportunities and turn them around quickly for the relevant client
• Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging

Responsibilities

• Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts on assigned clients
• Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with clients’ representatives, and in-person meetings
• Write original copy and edit content for a range of communications materials
• Collaborate with the accounts teams of different clients throughout the project
• Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team, and to client representative whenever needed
• Participate in client pitches, whenever necessary
• Revise copy based on internal and client feedback
• Take up elementary social media management tasks, whenever necessary

Skills and Qualifications

• Any graduate; preference will be given to a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
• Experience of 1-2 years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work
• Exceptional writing and research skill
