Job Description

  • Qualification:Bachelor's degree (Any stream)
  • Experience:2-3 Year

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand your target audience - you're not writing for the client, you're writing for their readers, so you'll need to know what interests them.
  • Identify key messages - understand the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how to communicate this powerfully.
  • Work with creative teams to ensure that the visual elements of the Campaign complement the words.
  • Research your client's industry and their audience
  • Juggle up multiple projects.
  • You will need to write long copy (brand guidelines, websites, etc),as well as smart, pithy copy (ad headlines, outdoor, etc).
  • You ll be expected to be proactive in researching audiences, clients and products. We ll give you all the support you need, but you ll need to dig on your own.
  • Client meeting: understanding clients requirements, objectives, goals.
  • Allocate work to other writers or to other creatives, such as web designers or graphic designers.
  • Research is done before any writing can be put on the page.
  • Planning and writing marketing campaigns
  • Producing sales content.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Strong listening skills, so that you can understand what the client wants and effectively develop a project brief
  • Great Writing Skills (obviously!
  • Excellent grammar, spelling & punctuation skills.
  • Good vocabulary. Writing creatively and persuasively.
  • The ability to work on more than on project at once.
  • The ability to adapt to different client tones of voice.
  • Good research and analytical skills to gain an accurate understanding of the subject in question
  • An understanding of Digital marketing.
  • Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team.
  • Be highly creative and imaginative
  • Taking a client's advertising brief and generating original copy ideas that grab the attention of the target audience.
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Microsoft word, power-point
  • Be familiar with Ogilvy & Gerry Graf
  • Excellent writing ability, including the ability to write in different styles and to other people's direction
  • The Organisational ability to manage multiple projects, often to tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills as you'll be working with a range of clients as well as creative and marketing team members
