About the internship
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic corporate environment and contribute to the legal aspects of our business operations.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Intellectual Property Oversight:
a. Develop and administer the organization's intellectual property (IP) portfolio, encompassing trademarks and patents, including routine surveillance of IP rights to detect and remediate potential violations
b. Establish a legal structure for the licensing of the organization's IP assets
2. Contractual Documentation and Analysis:
a. Compose, scrutinize, and negotiate legal documents and contracts, such as agreements with vendors, clients, and partners, which may encompass Service Level Agreements (SLAs),Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs),and others
3. Regulatory Compliance Advisory:
a. Offer counsel to departmental teams on regulatory adherence issues
b. Prepare the requisite legal content for various marketing and sales channels, including but not limited to sales operations, email campaigns, blogs, webinars, and digital platforms
4. Routine Compliance Audits:
a. Execute monthly evaluations to ensure adherence to data protection, privacy regulations, and social media policies
b. Detect and mitigate potential legal risks
c. Facilitate the integration and management of data from standard and negotiated contracts into corporate databases, along with their ongoing upkeep
5. Legal Research and Policy Development:
a. Undertake legal research to remain abreast of legislative and regulatory shifts
b. Analyze legal matters and furnish strategic recommendations to internal business units, particularly concerning data security, privacy legislation, and social media protocols
