JOB DESCRIPTION FOR COUNSELLOR

Counsellor Qualifications:

 Should be a graduate in any discipline preferably a design graduate with pleasing personality and have good communication & presentation skills.

 Must have a strong command over English, Hindi/Local languages

 Knowledge of different competitors and their products and services along with fee and discount schemes.

 Candidates having at least two (2)-year experience in a similar profile would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

 Acquire thorough knowledge and understanding of available courses, admission policies and other rules and regulations of the company

 Handle enquiries, reception duties and attend to phone calls.

 Shall maintain records of the enquiry generation, conversion rates etc. in specified formats and report to appropriate authority as and when required

 Distribute admission forms/ information brochures.

 Coordinate with the center manager and the admission section.

 Coordinate in fee deposition/ refund process.

 Shall make a close rapport with the principals/ students of prestigious/ good schools to organize career counselling seminars/ sample classes etc.

 Shall arrange seminars at the center/ other suitable places, for career guidance to the students in coordination with the center manager and the admission coordinator.

 Shall create a students’ database in order to interact with them through periodic mailers and updated information of various courses.

 Shall carry out any other task as may be assigned to him/her from time to time.
