Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a craft and social media intern to organize DIY events as well as create content for social media. The ideal candidate should have a passion for crafting and creating engaging content with experience in content creation, graphic designing and have keen interest in learning crafts. 

Detailed Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and execute craft events for Skillo DIY studio

• Design creatives (Instagram posts, reels, stories etc.) and engaging visual content to increase brand awareness and drive sales

• Maintain company’s social media calendar

• Manage event logistics, including venue coordination, vendor management and event promotion

• Provide excellent customer service during events to ensure customer satisfaction

• Stay up-to-date with crafting trends and assist in curating current and relevant crafting experiences.

• Pursuing/Finished Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field
• Strong creative skills with the ability to develop engaging visual content, especially Instagram Reels, Posts and Stories
• Experience & passion in the art & craft making preferred with ability to inspire others to create
• Excellent with oral and written English with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and customers
• Good with Canva or Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
• Good with video and reel editing
• Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends for events
