Internship Details
About Internship: Overview of day-to-day responsibilities;
You will play an essential role among a team of some of the best storytellers in the country and will be helping keep ships moving on daily production and workflow. You will assist in pre-production ideation, research and booking as well as post-production scriptwriting, publishing and promotion. You are a full-fledged member of the team and will bring valuable ideas and contributions to each meeting and episode. There's lots of room for new ideas and growth on this team, and we are looking for individuals who also not afraid to provide their perspective on all facets of the process.
Time Commitment: The internship requires a part-time commitment of 25 hours per week.
Internship Duration: Internships are 16 weeks. Applications for our next batch of internships start on December 1st 2020.
No Prior Experience Required
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS.
Interest in storytelling.
Interest in journalism.
Experience in compiling and distilling research.
Preferably experience working in an editorial environment, for example, an on-campus publication or internship.
Roles and Responsibilities: You will gain valuable experience by working with the team on a wide variety of issues. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Research and prepare questions for episodesBrainstorming and pitching guestsManaging and editing transcriptsExecuting social promotion ideas Meeting notesOrganising and coordinating with guests
