Job Description

Will be primarily responsible for collection of AR/SD/EMD with customer reconciliation, Therefore excellent knowledge of accounting and SAP required, with multi-tasking ability, good communication skills, ability to work under pressure and experience of handling customers. The responsibilities include:
Collection target setting, forecasting and review
Periodic AR reviews and escalation of delinquent accounts
Obtain payment schedule/ promise to pay from large customers/ major projects
Bank Reconciliation - identification of customers, projects, jobs against interim account entries/ balances, against unapplied/ unidentified balances
Collection receipts - ensuring they are submitted timely and accurately
Tracking of deposits - collection target and forecasting, periodic review and escalation of non collectible deposits
Dunning letters - Issuance for every invoice as per policy
Cheque bounce cases - manage as per defined policy, initiate legal process of recovery wherever necessary
Customer reconciliation
Legal cases - identification of defaulting/ disputed customer cases, redirecting and follow-up of cases to legal team
Balance confirmation - with all customers at least once every fiscal year
Payment receipt confirmation - obtain payment receipt advice from customers having multiple contracts
