What you'll be doing...
This position will report to Head Legal and will work closely with the lawyers, business partners and external vendors.
- Statutory compliance matters relating to Employee State Insurance Scheme, Provident Fund, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Leaves and Holidays. POSH, LWF Bonus, Employment Exchange filings CLRA, Shops and Establishment Act, Laws on Wages and other labour laws.
- Conduct Vendor Audit for all Vendors for Statutory compliance of all labour laws.
- Provide guidance to the HR department in resolving issues and answering queries from Employees.
- Research and provide updates on labour laws.
- Provide reports as and when required by Legal or other departments.
- Support the team members and other internal teams in day-to-day activities of the Company by providing advice on labour matters.
Representing Verizon India externally including the Labour Department and other offices.
You'll Need To Have
What we're looking for...
- LLB and eight or more years of work experience in labour matters in an IT/ITES company.
- Experience in Compliance tools/Platforms.
- Excellent understanding of Labour laws.
- Willingness to travel.
Even Better If You Have
- Diploma in HR/Labour laws
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
