The Customer Relationship Officer is responsible for originating, analyzing, and closing loan products. This individual will participate in the loan origination process and will be responsible for meeting loan production goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Actively seek and generate new loan business by cultivating relationships with clients and other referral sources.
• Evaluate and analyze loan applications to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and secondary market guidelines.
• Prepare loan applications and coordinate the loan approval process with the processor, underwriter and closing staff.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is received and that all conditions for approval have been met.
• Monitor loan status and ensure timely delivery of loan products.
• Communicate loan status to customers and other referral sources.
• Promote and cross-sell loan products.
• Stay abreast of changes in lending guidelines, credit policies, and industry trends.
• Maintain knowledge of all loan products and services offered.
