Job Overview:
A Field Service Engineer in the oil and gas industry plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and
reliable operation and maintenance of equipment and machinery at various work sites.
Field Service Engineers are expected to possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills,

Job Responsibilities:
1. On-Site Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and
repairs on a wide range of oil and gas equipment, including fuel dispensers and other types
of equipment at retail outstations like Petrol pumps, to ensure their optimal performance
and minimize downtime.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical issues that may arise
during the operation of equipment, utilizing a deep understanding of the specific systems
and processes involved in our industry.
3. Installation and Commissioning: Assisting with the installation, configuration, and
commissioning of new equipment (fuel dispensers and other types of equipment at retail
outstations like Petrol pumps), ensuring that it operates according to specified guidelines
and safety standards.
4. Customer Support: Providing technical support and guidance to clients or customers,
addressing their concerns, and offering solutions to maximize the efficiency and safety of
their operations.
5. Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all work performed adheres to industry safety standards
and regulations, and identifying potential safety hazards or risks to prevent accidents and
promote a secure working environment.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of service activities,
including maintenance schedules, repairs performed, and any modifications made, and
providing comprehensive reports to supervisors or management as required.
7. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Attending training sessions or workshops to enhance
the understanding of equipment operations, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
8. Field Operations Coordination: Collaborating with other team members, including
engineers, technicians, and project managers, to coordinate field operations, prioritize tasks,
and ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
