Responsibilities:

·       Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the freight forwarding process, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

·       Coordinate with various stakeholders including carriers, customs agents, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth and timely transportation and delivery of goods.

·       Assist customers with booking shipments, preparing documentation, and tracking cargo throughout the shipment lifecycle.

·       Proactively communicate with customers regarding shipment status, delays, and any potential disruptions to delivery schedules.

·       Handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy and urgency, striving to find satisfactory resolutions while maintaining positive customer relationships.

·       Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and shipment details in the company's CRM system.

·       Collaborate with sales and operations teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

·       Stay informed about industry regulations, market trends, and competitor activities to better serve customer needs and provide value-added services.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.

·       Previous experience in customer service roles within the freight forwarding or logistics industry is highly desirable.

·       Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer-focused approach.

·       Proficiency in relevant software applications such as CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and shipment tracking platforms.

·       Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

·       Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.

·       Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

·       Knowledge of international trade regulations, INCO terms, and freight forwarding processes is a plus.
