Job Title: Customs – Manager [ Import of
Refractory/Capital Goods/Spares]
1. Planning the
schedule of consignments in transit, lying in port and ready for dispatch on
daily basis.
2. Responsible for
arranging the import documents from the procurement dept.
3. Supervising the
check list of each Bill of Entry being generated before clearance
4. Preparation of
Customs duty fund requirement on weekly basis category wise, company wise.
5. Arranging funds
for Customs duty payment in coordination with Finance & Treasury
6. Ensuring the
goods are classified under various scheme for concessional duty scheme
7. Ensuring the
clearance of goods without payment of detention/demurrage/Excess ground
rent/interest
8. Preparation of
MIS on total duty payment alongwith exceptional MIS
9. Ensuring the
Installation certificates are obtained in time.
10. Ensuring closure of EPCG & Advance Authorisation
scheme within stipulated time.
11. Expertise in Project Imports and having working
knowledge in Capital goods imports for any big projects/expansion
12. Settlement of CHA bills in time with necessary
approval
13. Maintenance of Records/Bills/information/technical
write up
14. Supporting the litigations against the company in
respect of any customs issue.
15. Arranging the required Write up and other technical
stuff from the technical team for clearance of goods in time
16. Exposure in Provisional/Final Assessment of bill of
entries.
17. Having good inter-personal skills and communications
with all agencies including CHAs, Customs department, etc.,

applications |
