BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Experience with the use and capabilities of ETL software, Informatica preferred.
Reporting experience
Good knowledge of operating systems: Linux, UNIX, Windows.
SQL knowledge on Oracle and Sybase databases.
Knowledge an use of TOAD, SQL Developer and Rapid SQL
PERL and UNIX scripting experience.
Big data using Hadoop and Spring Cloud dataflow is plus
Message Queue experience is desirable
Experience with the use and capabilities of scheduling through Control-M
Understanding of Asset Management value chain and corresponding data sets – lifecycles of trades and securities and valuation of holdings.
Understanding of investment accounting of equities, futures, fixed income, and derivatives is a plus.
Experience working through entire lifecycle of at least one large complex application build-out and delivery for either a large financial organization or a top-class technology product team.
Knowledge of agile delivery and software development lifecycle is expected.
Knowledge of project management framework and methodologies is a plus.
Proven leadership qualities as well as high performance track record

Hands on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.
