Data Analyst recruitment in Mumbai - For a client of TeamLease Services Ltd

Overview

Reporting to the R&D Director, the Data Analytics Team Leader will be responsible for a small group working to deliver a new product for the Australian market. Based on our existing database and dashboard platforms, this role requires the design, development and delivery of QlikSense-based dashboards and the database and operational processing framework to support them to provide market intelligence on the retail wealth distribution sector in Australia. The Team Leader will co-ordinate a group including database, front-end and quality specialists and provide interface design and data analytics guidance to the Product Manager as we leverage frameworks extensively developed for UK market products to deliver similar insight to our clients in Australia.

This role will be based in our Mumbai office, and will require coordination with colleagues in the UK and Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of developers and testers 
• Work with Product Management to explore and specify solutions and satisfy design goals
• Co-ordinate with colleagues in London to leverage existing architecture and technical solutions
• Work with Technical Services teams to define production architecture and deployment/control processes
• Design dashboards and MI interfaces using QlikSense
• Work with wider Quality team to ensure application is tested to corporate standards for security and other key areas
• Document design and processes using Confluence
• Manage and monitor work allocation and issue resolution using JIRA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or any equivalent/related course;
• Experienced dashboard/MI reporting developer with QlikSense or similar (Tableau, Sisense…),having at least 3-5 years of working experience
• Data warehouse creation and mining (Oracle or SQLServer)
• Experience of team management and/or product design leadership; Prior team management experience would be advantageous
• Knowledge of wealth distribution market (products, participants, processes),ideally in Australia
• Strong HCI design knowledge using mashups to deliver MI reporting
• Data analytics/reporting tool knowledge, ideally with strong experience of QlikSense (but could crosstrain from other similar platforms)
• Database analysis and design for bulk loading and extraction
• Some technical knowledge of front-end development (Javascript) and Microsoft .NET framework is advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to motivate team members and with strong coordination/collaboration skills
• Strong analytical mind, excellent attention to detail and able to rapidly absorb complex technical information
