Job Summary

We Are Looking for Database Architect At Mumbai Central (Tardeo)

Responsibilities and Duties

Identify database requirements.

Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.

Install revised or new systems by proposing specifications.

Create procedure, functions, triggers, views, clusters, indexes etc.

Contribute to team by writing queries for accomplishing related results as needed.

Use automation for regression testing with various operating systems and versions of databases and test back-up and recovery plans.
Use Load balancer for high volume database

Monitor performance and manage parameters in order to provide fast responses

to front-end users.

Refine logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model o Refine physical design to meet system storage requirements
o Install and test new versions of database management system (DBMS) o Maintain data standards, including adherence to the data protection act o Control access permissions and privileges
o Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly. o Carry out capacity planning.
o Work closely with the team to get best results from the project.

Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security

Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database.

Consult with leads and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and

software implementations.

Maintain complex databases by performing appropriate database management functions (e.g., maintain space availability, rebuilds indexes, file cleanup, runs

utilities to check database integrity) to ensure optimum capacity and application performance

Will be required to work on tight deadlines under pressure

Create and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and customers o Willingness to keep up to date with developments in new technology.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:-

5+ years of experience as DBA and handling enterprise level projects.
Complete understanding of all languages related to database (DCL, DDL etc.)
Hands on experience of RDBMS, OODBMS and xml database management systems.
Hands on experience on MSSQL, MYSQL
Knowledge of various data storage technologies & principles of database design.
