Job Description:
- Identify the opportunities for automation within the account across the towers through techniques like ticket analysis, time & motion studies, etc.
- Coordinate with the central Automation team to map solutions for the identified use cases
- Engage with the customer stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals for deployment of the automation
- Facilitate discussions with SME s where necessary to convince the customer about the automation to be rolled out
- Prepare & track the plan for automation rollout
- Work with the tower leads and automation tollout team to enaure effective implementation of the automation solution
- Participate in geovernance calls
- Work with the tower leads, TSG and central automation team to define the requirements for use cases where ready solutions do not exist
- Work with automation factory to get the solution developed
- Build a team of infrastructure programmers within the account whi can help in doing automation in-house
- Escalate to the necessary stakeholders in case the progress is slow or halted
- Meet the target automation objectives set for the account
Skills required:
- Atleast 8 years of experience in IT industry, preferable in IT Service Management / Operations
- Hands on experience on Orchestrator tool, scripting
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Sound understanding of IT landscape (Network, Linux, Unix, Windows, Security, Firewall, Cloud, Datacenter, etc.)
- Experience in analysis, design, develipment and implementation of solutions
- Through understanding on Monitoring, Discover Event Correlation conveptually
- Aware of ITIL V3 process with an experience of pratical application of processes
- Sound understanding of importance of End User Computing, service desk, network and security, etc.
