Role: Data Curator - I

Location: Visakhapatnam

Experience: 0 - 4 Years

  • We are looking for Data Curators who can identify data sources for our varied data set requirements and curate them using automated and other methodologies. 
  • These data sets should conform to the expected standards and will be used across different product lines.

Job Requirements
  • Technology Competencies
  • Core Java, J2EE, Collections concepts
  • Good to have: Scala,Python
  • DB/NoSql - MongoDB, MySql or any No SQL DB.
  • Understanding of analytical and statistical tools/concepts

Job Role/Responsibilities
  • Strong computer science fundamentals
  • Strong logical thinking and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Fast Learner with an inquisitive mind and go-getter attitude
  • Interact efficiently with team members within and across locations
  • Be able to independently contribute with minimal supervision
  • Identify new data sources for data acquisition and curation
  • Ensure data is clean and can be used for different use cases
  • Create data dictionaries for the data sets that can be used by internal teams
  • Develop and maintain pipelines to extract and curate new data sets
  • Develop POCs to demonstrate value of the acquired data sets
  • Create tools to use the available data effectively

Work Experience
  • 1 + years of experience in word processing / spreadsheet software
  • 1 + years of experience with Java / Python / Scala
  • 1+ years of experience working with relational databases
  • 1+ years of experience with No-SQL databases, preferably MongoDB
