Job Type: 
* This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a 12-month initial contract. 
* 100% possibility of Fulltime conversion during the contract. 

Salary Range: 
* Competitive salary ranging from 10 to 12 Lakhs per annum. 

Job Description: 
* As a Data Engineer within our esteemed Global IT Services Company, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining sophisticated data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytical applications.  
* Your role will encompass leveraging Python or Java, harnessing the power of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and navigating diverse data sources in both batch and streaming modes.  
* Crafting intricate SQL queries for various relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and creating KPI metrics and analytics dashboards with tools like Power BI will be integral to your responsibilities.  
* Essential exposure to AWS data services (Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis) or Azure platform's data services (Data Factory, Data Bricks, Synapse Analytics, etc.) is expected.  
* Additionally, familiarity with Airflow DAGs, AWS EMR, S3, IAM, and other relevant services, coupled with experience in test case development using pytest or unit test, will be highly valued. 

* Knowledge of Snowflake or Redshift data warehouses, proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, GIT for code management, familiarity with Rest APIs, and ease in adapting to Agile project methodologies are key facets of this role.
