Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.) and Azure services (Databricks, Data Factory).
- Expertise in Apache Spark, pySpark, Scala, and SparkSQL for large-scale data processing.
- Solid understanding of Hive for data warehousing and SQL-based querying.
- Knowledge of Azure fundamentals and cloud computing principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as GitHub and build automation tools like Maven.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
