Data Entry Operator 
Job Summary

• We are seeking an organized and thorough professional to fulfil the Data Entry Operator role. 
• The Data Entry Operator will ensure the accuracy of data entries and perform clerical tasks (including mailing and filing) as needed. 
• This professional must be dependable, highly familiar with using basic office equipment, and able to focus on single tasks for long periods.
• Data Entry Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Enter and updates data daily
• Use various databases to store and manage data
• Generate bi-weekly reports
• Ensure that entries are correct and complete
• Contact customers to clarify incomplete or unclear information
• Cross-reference data reports with customer logs
• Compile and organizes customer data
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Respond to internal requests for access to protected files
• Answer main phone line and directs callers to appropriate areas
• Data Entry Operator Requirements and Qualifications
• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in office management, customer service, IT or related field
• High comfort level using computers
• Moderate to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be comfortable with sitting for long periods
