Night Shift (8 pm to 5 am)

Responsibilities

Ensure that commercial transactions and related risks are appropriately defined and captured by the Company’s risk systems and risk methodologies.
Interact with commercial teams to collect all necessary information about new deals or deal amendments.
Enter deals on a timely basis into the company’s trading and accounting systems.
Assist in developing processes/procedures to ensure all deal input was done accurately and any subsequent changes are communicated to all parties impacted.
Create end of day New Trades and Deal Changes/Amendments reports to ensure deal capture, positions, price curves, and settlement prices are accurately reflected.
Assist in the setup, configuration and implementation of deal entry processes and systems.
Contribute to the development of the Middle Office team and to the positive working environment at Tricon.

Experience & Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in energy or other commodity businesses preferred.
Bachelor’s degree.
Product knowledge in gas, oil, or petrochemical markets preferred.
Familiarity working with Excel and some knowledge of database and accounting systems (JD Edwards a plus).
Dynamic interpersonal skills with strong verbal, writing and presentation skills.
Capacity to work under time-sensitive business and reporting deadlines while paying great attention to details.
Ability to effectively work as part of a team.
Ability to work NIGHT SHIFT to support US hours.
