The Enterprise Functions team supports the offshoring activities of multiple lines of business and the corporate risk management organization with their needs in current and expected demand for business process risk management.

About The

Role

This role within Data Management and Insights team will be responsible for testing of OFSAA platform of Risk and Regulatory Data as part of eONE initiative.

The eONE initiative seeks to build a 'one number' instrument data foundation that is complete, reliable, and aligned to the general ledger. The initiative will also establish the authoritative data source for common data elements between Corporate Finance and Corporate Risk management to support in scope risk and regulatory reporting. eONE will create a federated, coordinated set of applications and databases to support risk and finance, which will allow for agile and accurate risk and regulatory reporting and analytics that complies with BCBS 239, G&O and the Wells Fargo Enterprise Data Governance Policies and Standards.

Responsibilities

• Quality assurance (QA) is an important front-line control activity to ensure key application deliverables are consistently and comprehensively completed, in alignment with the eONE Policy requirements.
• Acts as a liaison between business and technical groups by planning, conducting and validating the technical solutions / processes.
• Position will support quality assurance of OFSAA platform to ensure daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly load cycles, DQ / Controls monitoring.
• Provides assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective, meet business requirements and are compliant per applicable policies.
• Escalation of issues / defects, working with technology groups to research and remediate as needed.
• Responsible for support break fix activities which require testing, recommendations with technology team, assessing risk in deployment with limited time to deploy fixes.
• Work with release teams to provide UAT testing. Will provide load notes that capture all decisions and issues of the load cycle to be memorialized for audit tracking purposes.
• Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions / issues, assess user needs and recommend changes.
• Develop test plan components and test scripts for Operational Team needs.
• May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using data quality reports / tools and process definition / improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.
• May provide direction and /or guidance to less experienced staff.
  
  

Market Skills and Certifications

Essential

Qualifications

• University degree in any discipline or related discipline.
• 10+ years of functional, automation or regression testing experience.
• 7+ years of proficiency with advanced SQL, PLSQL coding and practices.
• 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis
• 3+ years of experience testing end user applications and technology product based on ‘Big data' or large data sets.
• Proven OFSAA experience in testing and validating the interaction of the production process once implemented.
• Proficiency with Oracle OFSAA FSDF (Financial Services Data Foundation).
• Strong organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking skills.
• Banking background understanding consumer / commercial / securities & derivatives products and nuances (one of the three).
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to multiple business owners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
