Data Modeling & Data Analytics

Work Experience:

At least 4-5 years of relevant industry work experience providing advanced analytic Solutions in a commercial setting.
At least 2 years of experience of advanced analytics in banking / financial services domain.
Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering.

Functional Skills:

Should have hands on experience in analytics delivery, through the entire life cycle of an analytics engagement – data requirement identification, data collection, analysis and insight generation using data, business team communication & follow up.
Developing models, building models as per standards, creating intermediate documents and analyzing effectiveness of models and interactively refining models to improve results.
Automating models to self-generate results.

Technical Skills:

Experience with multiple analytics methods (one or more required).
Data management skills (eg. Data modeling, data integrity QA / QC).
Predictive modeling (logistic regression, linear regression, etc).
Customer segmentation and targeting, promotion effectiveness and churn prevention.
Familiarity with analytics tools (one or more required).
Advanced Excel
SAS (Preferable),SPSS, R
Alteryx
SQL, Including geospatial types and functions
Tableau, SSRS a plus
Programming and / or scripting experience preferred, eg. VBA
