Job Description

Data QE with Hadoop

Data QE, Hadoop, ETL Testing, BI/DW, Hive, Spark, Scala.

Location : Hyderabad

Role type: Full Time

Experience: 3 - 12 years

Skills and Experience :

  • Good to have knowledge of any scripting language, like Shell, VBA, Python, etc.
  • Good experience in test automation for Big Data/EDW data programs by using Java or Python or Shell scripting.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to function in a high volume setting with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving skill, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in coordinating test activities and optimizing test cycles while working with the project team.
  • Expertise in conducting and running defect triage meeting with project teams.
  • Knowledge of Selenium test automation and experience with performance testing tools.
  • Experience in QE for streaming data ingestion would be a plus.
  • Expertise in all aspects of QE which includes delivering effective testing strategies and testing artifacts, like Test Plans, Test Cases, Testing Execution Reports, etc.
  • Ability to work with file formats like Avro, Parquet, sequence files, text files, etc.
  • Expertise in creation of test automation frameworks using Python.
