Purpose of the position
In Schneider Electric, Data Governance is part of Governance organization because we want to drive the company performance with the best data. This position is within the team in charge of Product Master Data Governance within the Data & Performance organization. Within our Data Governance mandate, our ambition is to increase the value of data we govern with the right data quality to drive business performance. In this context, we are extending our data scope to the full Schneider landscape of offer master data and IT systems. To better govern this large scope of Data , we’re starting to build the End To End Offer Data Quality dashboard with all data owners across the company for the measurement and monitoring of the data quality (coverage, completeness, consistency, compliance with rules…).
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our team, whose mission is to build the most suitable and reliable data quality metrics and support data owners with relevant data analysis, which requires to perform data analysis, do ad-hoc data studies, qualify KPIs and Quality dashboard, do experimentations on data.

Responsibilities & duties
In strong interaction with the owners of the different IT platforms and with business experts run Data Analysis / Data studies for Offer Master Data

Design analyst
Conduct / participate to workshops to specify and design, build and deliver data analysis, data KPI and data quality dashboard based on business intent and available data
Understand data models and the Schneider Electric data eco-system
conduct analysis of data to identify data needed and define relevant metrics
prepare / select required data from root source systems and / or Schneider Electric Data Lake, transform / convert raw data to right-designed format,
Become expert of the Offer Data in Schneider Electric Data lake (Unified Data Layer, Analytical Data layer)
Propose relevant visualization in accordance with the Business & Performance purpose

Quality analyst
Monitor quality metrics
design and build analysis of the data quality metrics to deliver actionable insights from Business & Performance perspective
run complex queries for ad-hoc issue diagnosis, root causes analysis or suspect data identification
generate insights that will drive Data owners’ improvement action plan decisions and deployment.

Data experimentation / data lab team member
Be part of a small team of data experts for the building the right environment (platform, tool),for the designing and the run of the experiment, for the understanding, finding and the selection of data, for the creation of data models, for the design and the creation / update of dashboards.
