Job Description:

As a Associate Data Scientist, you will be responsible to drive the projects to success in terms of excellent Customer Satisfaction, on time deliveries, economical and high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Our analytics team will apply predictive analytic techniques on social data, blog data, customer survey data and 3rd party data to build scores, benchmarks and trends that are relevant to our global B2B customers.

Along with our team of data scientists and data analysts, you’ll work with our Customer Experience (CX) Experts for delivering information to support strategic decisions with data-driven insights to develop best-in-class solutions.

You will drive multiple projects from the proposal to the final deliveries. Also, you will manage the performance of the data analysts as well as mentor.

Requirements:

The successful candidates should have:-

Minimum of 0-3 year experience in analytics

Strong background in Predictive Modeling, Machine Learning, Advanced Statistics

Rich experience in one or more of these areas: Text analytics, social media analytics

Project management experience for analytics delivery engagements involving onshore/offshore model

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

Planning & estimation: ability to set and meet the project objectives & milestones

Knowledge to data technologies in ETL, database management is a plus

Knowledge working with large datasets, preferably using tools like Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, or Hive is a plus

Knowledge in using reporting and dashboard tools like Spotfire, Tableau, SPSS Modeler is a plus

Knowledge in developing prototypes, proof of concepts, algorithms, predictive models

Knowledge in designing and building processes as well as improving existing processes for modeling, data mining, and production purposes.

Communicate results and progress internally and externally in meetings, presentations, and tech talks

Ability to coordinate effectively with team members in engineering, design, and product management

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Masters, Ph.D., or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (computer science, mathematics, statistics, operations research, econometrics, bioinformatics, physics, etc.)
