THSTI is inviting application for the position of Data Scientist-Computer Vision for the project titled "Computer-Assisted Low-cost Point-of-care Ultrasound (CALOPUS)". The project will challenge state-of-the-art thinking in machine learning applied to medical imaging and provides a rare opportunity for an imaging scientist to get hands-on experience in an international effort to improve pregnancy care in India.

Qualification: B Tech./BE or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ IT/ Biomedical Engineering/ Engineering/ Medical Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Engineering degree where computational analysis methods development was a major component of the degree

Salary: up to 75,000/- (depending on additional qualifications and experience as decided by the selection committee). Minimum Starting salary INR 50,000

Experience: Practical experience in any algorithm related to Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning processing Any Image experience either in MATLAB or any other software - Programming in front end and back ends - Willingness to learn and explore image processing algorithm development

Desirable: Post-graduate or doctoral degree disciplines the above Experience of machine learning and knowledge of deep learning.

Interest healthcare technology research. Experience of actively collaborating in the development of research articles for publication; Knowledge of Tensor flow. Experience in working on inter-disciplinary research.

Age Limit: 35 years
