About The Team

You will work on ensure joined-up global application, infrastructure, data center, designs, delivery and influencing the associated software roadmaps that supports the business product roadmaps and drive simplification and technology innovation.

What You Will Be Doing

Provide database support services to application teams and WRA CIO Services Group operations including the Data center Operations. May require knowledge of multiple database management systems on one or more operating systems. Primary duties include database software installation, upgrade/patching, infrastructure management and creation and support of application databases.

Knowledge / Experience

Participating in 24x7 on call support rotation
SQL DBA Administrator (4 \u2013 5) years
System installations and upgrades
Backup & recovery solutions
Drive the performance analysis for servers and implement majors for improvement.
Must Have desire to Trouble-Shoot and Resolve Complex Issues
Administer and Support multiple mission-critical application servers running various operating systems.
Providing feedback to Development on needed improvements forserviceability

Skills

Manage SQL Server database (SQL 2008R2\2012\2014\2016) through product life cycle environments, from development to production systems.
Database and query performance tuning and optimization
Day to day support and administration of all areas of SQL environments
Data cleansing and data correction work, Performance tuning, capacity planning
Assisting developers, implementation and support staff with putting together complex database queries and stored procedures.
Contributing to product improvements, ease of use, reliability and reducing support levels
Flexibility with working hours and workload including being part of the 24*7 support
Day to day support and administration of all areas of SQL environments
Backups and Refresh databases.
Coordination with Development Team for performance related issues.
Hands on SQL Patching\Upgrades of all environment (SQL 2008R2\2012\2014\2016)

Qualifications

MCA, BE, BCA, B.Sc.
Competencies
Excellent Verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Experience with a Problem/Incident/Change Management methodologies
Experience working in a Production Environment as well as providing Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuity Support.
Ready to work in shifts, weekends and available as OnCall after office hours
Good team player
