The Job

You Will Be Responsible For

• Installing, configuring, upgrading and administering the database environment.
• Monitoring system health and ensuring high performance level of Microsoft SQL database systems.
• Optimising database performance and perform regular server maintenance through applying patches and versioning when required.
• Troubleshooting any database related issues.
• Automating regular processes
• Working after hours and weekend to support critical production systems and release deployment
• Collaborating and engaging in knowledge-sharing of expertise
  

The Profile

• You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 3 years experience within a Database Administrator role.
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases.
• You have strong experience with Performance Tuning and Optimisation.
• You are a strong collaborator with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
