The Enterprise Technology Infrastructure (ETI) team within the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) is responsible for enterprise-wide infrastructure services across the global footprint, including networking, production services, storage, data centers, mainframe, midrange and Cloud-based systems, distributed systems, and international infrastructure.

About The

Role

Senior Oracle DBA(DBA 4) in EDM environment will be supporting the databases in Banking Domain. This will include the Engineering, Build Deployment and On call support for Prod, BCP and lower environments like UAT,SIT and DEV. Owns the responsibility of his assigned group of databases and assists other team members

Responsibilities

Expert in Database infrastructure, tools, methodologies, process, Backup and Recovery , Disaster Recovery
Expert in SQL Server database clustering, mirroring and multi-node architectures
Expert in Advanced database concepts like multi-directional replication
Hands on in supporting end to end database projects.
Experience in handling large databases
Review/Prepare/Deploy the Database plan for the Change Requests & Work Requests for Production and Non - production environments
Primary DBA for the set of applications in the line of business
Single point of Database technical contact for the channel of business he /she leads for.
Fine tune the database and the application batch programs in collaboration with application teams.
Generate Ideas and Improvements- Process/Technical
Collaborate with application Team and US partners and run the efficiency programs
Good understanding of the channel of business and its dependencies in terms of databases.
Test New features and document best practices .
Innovate and implement process improvements and automate wherever necessary process, methodologies
Increase his/her technology capabilities by self learning, lab and Learning & Development programs
Assist Leads in Developing and maintaining DBA run books/game plans

Essential

Qualifications

Expert in Oracle RDBMS architecture, Administration and Troubleshooting
Hands on experience in Backup and Recovery , Disaster Recovery
Hands on knowledge in Clustering, Replication & Tuning Databases
Ability to test new features and document best practices

Desired

Qualifications

Knowledge- Good to have scripting, Monitoring tools knowledge
Banking Domain knowledge - Good to have
Knowledge on Cloud and Bigdata architecture
