Skills And Experience You Will Need

Database Analyst (6-10 years)

• Installing and configuring, upgrading the Oracle server and application tools
• Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
• Ensuring compliance with your Oracle license agreement
• Specialized data handling
• Controlling and monitoring user access to the database
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database
• Understanding of database security issues
• Database design
• Experience in troubleshooting databases for performance
• Good knowledge of series of DBMS packages
• Experience with Oracle Exadata and Golden Gate would be added advantage
• Experience in MySQL and PostgreSQL would be added advantage
• Experience with the UNIX operating system would be added advantage
• Experience in creating and maintaining UNIX shell and Perl scripts.
• Basic programming languages such as HTML and XML
• Excellent communication skills
• Expected to provide hands-on production database support and database project support.
• Attend to Incident Bridge and close incident / task ticket within SLA.
• Perform proactive maintenance & patching in production & non-production
