Job Description

Database Developer

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience

Location: Mumbai



Job Overview
  • Development of high-quality database solutions in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Working on a variety of processes that will manipulate very large amounts of data.
  • Study current systems, understand underlying data architecture, flow and processes and help redesign and refactor.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with global business and technical teams
  • Willingness to learn and work on different technologies and tools in addition to SQL if required for the project.
Requirements And Duties
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of real industry experience
  • Expert level in Microsoft SQL Server programming
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft SQL Server Services and Administration
  • Intermediate level in Data Modelling and Data Architecture
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with Capital markets and Mutual funds industry/data.
Nice To Have
  • Familiarity with data provided by data vendors such as Factset, S&P Capital IQ, S&P Compustat, Lipper, Morningstar, Thomson Reuters or Bloomberg will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with NoSQL/BigData frameworks like ElasticSearch, Hazelcast or Redis
  • Programming skills in Java or Python
