Job Description

Brief About The Role

Advance knowledge of database security, backup, recovery and performance monitoring standards
Design, develop and implement database systems based on customer requirements on RDMS and NoSQL database.
Hands on experience with SQL/NoSQL.
Optimize database systems for performance efficiency.
Prepare design specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects.
Perform space management and capacity planning for database systems.
Develop database tables and dictionaries.
Ensure data quality and integrity in databases.
Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
Participate in database design and architecture to support application development projects.
Perform data back-up and archival on regular basis.
Troubleshoot database related issues in a timely fashion.
Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized usage.
Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
Develop best practices for database design and development activities

Skills Required

Ability to create data models, tuning the SQL Queries, Optimize RDBMS databases for better performance and scaling is must skill set
Must have the ability to design database for performance with all the best standards.
Have good knowledge on MySQL/PostgreSQL/Cassandra database optimization and tuning on Amazon RDS/Aurora/EC2 instance.
Have good knowledge on data masking on MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Cassandra database.
Have good experience on database manage on Amazon RDS/Aurora/EC2 instance for PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Cassandra database.
Have a very good knowledge on MySQL/PostgreSQL CI/CD changes by Liquibase.
Have knowledge of database migration from MySQL to PostgreSQL vis versa.
Ability to scale is must. Knowledge of replication, sharding, clustering of Database is essential.
Working knowledge of at-least one programming language as Python, shell script
