What you will be a part of

The Database Engineer has accountability for day-to-day management of database. They should work on migration of data from one Relational database to another. They should be able to modify and maintain PL/SQL, T-sql and Pg/SQl code. They should be able to troubleshoot any system issue and data related issue.

• Should be able to work on code conversion from PL/SQL, T-SQL to other language like pg/SQL.
• Ensure continuous and effective communication with relevant team members, partners and colleagues in relation to Migration activities.
• Should be a quick learner 
• Should have interest in learning new technologies
• Be proactive in planning, anticipating change and acting in accordance; drive meticulous implementation of team goals and metrics. Ensure outstanding communication with all partners through regular updates.

Responsibilities

5-12 years of industry experience of handling relational databases Oracle, MS SQL and PostgreSql and migration of databases.

1. Requirements

• Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• Technology E-commerce Experience in a fast-paced setting
• Write clean, high-quality code in a variety of languages and are also able to spot (and improve) bad code
• Engineering team and Cross-functional leadership experience
• Ability to communicate with business leaders and understand business requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Experience with Relational Databases like Oracle, MSSQL and PostGreSql
• Experience with SQL and PLSQL.
• Experience in AWS cloud will be an added advantage.
