Job Description
Role: DBA Lead
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 8-12 yrs
Project Timing: 11 AM – 8 PM (Candidate should be flexible)
Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Database Architect/Lead Developer specializing in Netezza and Oracle databases.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
- This role requires strong technical expertise in both Netezza and Oracle platforms, as well as leadership capabilities to guide a team of developers.
- Design and implement efficient database solutions for our organization, leveraging Netezza and Oracle technologies.
- Lead a team of developers in the implementation and maintenance of database systems.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to gather requirements and define database architecture to meet business needs.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other performance tuning techniques. Develop and enforce data standards and best practices to ensure data integrity and security.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in database management and architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in database architecture and development, with a focus on Netezza and Oracle.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant certifications in Netezza and Oracle technologies are a plus.
