Pay Scales of Posts: Rs.37400-67000+AGP 10000/- + Rs.1000/- special allowance and rent free accommodation
Dean, Postgraduate Studies, PAU in the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000+AGP 10,000 plus Rs1000/- p.m. as special allowance and rent free accommodation.
i) Ph.D. in any discipline of Agriculture.
ii) Master’s degree in any discipline of Agriculture
iii) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Agriculture
iv) At least second division at Bachelor’s level and 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 at Master’s level.
v) Twelve years’ experience in teaching/ research/ extension in any discipline of Agriculture* in a College/ Institution out of which, atleast 5 years must be as Professor & equivalent.
vi) Substantial contributions to teaching /research/extension and scholarship as evidenced by the teaching innovations/ quality of papers published in professional journals of repute, adoption of results of research/ extension education.
vii) Administrative experience, leadership, ability and capacity to organize and supervise the work of others.
viii) Matric level certificate of Punjabi language of Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent (If not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).

v) Twelve years’ experience in teaching/ research/ extension in any discipline of Agricultural Science in a College/ Institution out of which, atleast 5 years must be as Professor and equivalent.
