Qualification: B.E or Equivalent with relevant experience in TV testing.

Primary Skills :

Experience inDigital video domain with hands on system integration experience on IPTV, OTT projects with STB and Mobile devices.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, C++ , C#, Java, LUA) with experience in test framework development.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Skills:

Must have In-depth Knowledge and experience of End to End IPTV configuration, installation and troubleshooting.
Has strong understanding and working experience on ABR streaming protocols like MPEG DASH, HLS, HDS.
Has experience in DRM, CAS technologies, cVDR, CDN technologies.
Working knowledge of video management platform like Kaltura.
Experience in API Testing.
Has experience in system integration testing of features like Video on Demand, Recommendation, Reporting, Bookmarking,
Proficiency in Testing Cable & Satellite Set Top Boxes with in depth Knowledge of DVB, DVB S2 & DVB C standards.
Has strong understanding of Set top box internals, HDMI, HDCP, WiFi connectivity.
Has a good understanding of Network, Router/Modem set-up, Multi-casting and bandwidth throttling.
Has a good understanding of Media Ingest process, nPVR, EPG
Proficient with Test case designing/writing techniques, reviewing and maintaining Test cases in HPQC.
