i. Academic qualifications as specified respectively against each such posts mentioned in the in the Annexure given below obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India, or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared to be deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or

ii. possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Council of India or Medical Council of India, as the case may be.

iii. a bachelor degree in Dental surgery obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University

3. Education Qualification: 

A (1) Possess a bachelor’s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and have completed the Divisional Officer’s course or the Fire Prevention Course recognized at the National Fire Service college Nagpur; or

(2) a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Fire)/Bachelor of Technology (Fire)/ Bachelor of Engineering (Fire and Safety)/ Bachelor of Technology (Fire and Safety) /Bachelor of Science (Fire)/ Bachelor of Science (Fire and Safety) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and

(B) Have about five years working experience in the field of Fire Brigade Service on the post which canbe considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Leading Fireman in the Government/Local bodies/Government Undertaking Board/Corporation/ Limited Company established under the companies act 2013;

(C) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; (D) Possess physical and medical standards as mentioned 

(E) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
