Required Skills/Abilities: 

1.      2- 3 years of experience in Mechanical & Piping field 

2.      Software : 

a.      AutoCAD 2D & 3D 

b.      Revit 

c.      BIM – 350  

d.      MS Office [Excel] 

Responsibilities 

·        Responsible for preparation of Process & Instrumentation drawings (P&ID) with all Piping sizes, valves, instruments and control cables details. 

·        Responsible for preparation of on-site isometric routing of piping and ducting with material take off list for installation & commissioning.

·        Responsible for assembly drawings for equipment along with tagging of all components for ease of assembly, functional testing & validation. 

·        Derive Bill of quantities and specifications in consultation with Subject Matter experts in the organization. 

·        Piping size calculation and selection of instruments, valves and other components based on compatibility.

·        Implement relevant standards in denoting the piping, valves, instruments, colour codes on the drawing.

·        Preparation of plant layouts, sectional views, elevation of the factory and utilities.

·        Determine root causes of failures and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing/assembly/fabrication methods. 

·        Review product designs for functionality, manufacturability or completeness and prepare action plans to bridge the gaps.
