Balaji Metal Craft jobs - Design Engineer

·         Research, design and create new products.

·         Determine the target audience of the product and the different ways in which it may be used.

·         Develop virtual models of different designs using computer software.

·         Find out the manufacturing requirements by examining materials and production costs.

·         Present designs and perform demonstrations of product prototypes for the approval of clients.

·         Evaluate the function, safety and appearance of products to ensure they have a practical design.

·         Research and draft blueprints, engineering plans, and graphics.

·         Develop test prototypes.

·         Identify solutions to improve production efficiency.

·         Use design software to develop models and drawings of new products.

·         Maintain existing engineering records and designs.

·         Assess all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks.

·         Estimate cost limits and budgets for new designs.

·         Supervise the manufacturing process of all designs.

·         Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the creative department.

·         Manufacturing Drawing Creation for components

·         Assembly Drawing Creating and BOM

·         Product Lifecycle Management for the product, documents, revision control and change management

·         Should be able to prepare formal document / reports

·         Technical correspondence / Liasioning with OEMs

·         Familiar with Manufacturing process, assembly tolerance stack-up, Inspection of the components

·         Having  2 years of experience in creating manufacturing drawings for Machined, Sheet Metal, Welding and Assembly drawing creating in Solid works without any part drawing reference

·         Should be Very proficient with Advanced Solid works Modeling, Drawing and Assembly

·         Familiar with design tables, creating exploded views in Solid works
