Job Role

• Lead Engineering Design Gates according building block and Product Level.
• Support/coach the Engineering community to understand the criteria for Design Gates to ensure a proper gate preparation.
• Provide trainings about Engineering Design Gates and Engineering Quality Toolbox (e.g. CIA, FMEA).
• Support the preventive quality activities in Engineering (e.g. CIA and FMEA) as well as the detection of quality issues and performance of root-cause analysis (e.g. 8D)
• Knowledge about requirements management and configuration management
• Ability to apply quality methods like FMEA (Systems, Design, Process) and Problem Solving Workshops (PPS, 8D)
• Ability to assess processes maturity
• Knowledge on Standards (IRIS, ISO 9001, CENELEC, …)
• 9. Engineering value chain experience
  

Qualifications

Qualification & Experience:

• B.E/ B.Tech with Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 5 to 9 years of experience in Quality
• Knowledge of BT Engineering process landscape, core PM processes and Gates reviews
• Knowledge about requirements management and configuration management
